Chompy is made for ages 3 and up and is independently lab-tested to U.S. toy safety standards (ASTM F963 / CPSIA). The PVC is BPA-free, toxin-free, and has an extra-soft, smooth surface that won't scuff or sting little hands. The inflatable body absorbs hits gently, and the set includes soft, padded gloves sized for tiny hands.
How do I keep Chompy from tipping when hit hard?+
The secret is the wide water base. Before inflating the body, fill the bottom with at least ~2.5 kg (5–6 gallons) of water. That low center of gravity means no matter how hard your little one hits or tackles, Chompy pulls himself back upright in a split second.
Should I fill the base with water or sand?+
For toddlers 3–6, water is the easiest and most recommended option - great stability and a gentle, calm rebound. For a stronger or older child, dry sand adds more weight and a faster bounce-back.
