I have tried a few similar products in the past and have always been disappointed. This one is very different, it exceeded my expectations. The ball is the appropriate size and weight, with actual grooves for feel and grip. It is silent and soft when it hits surfaces, yet the bounce and dribble are not different than a regular basketball. My kids have been getting in extra drills up stairs in the loft without anyone knowing. It's been great. I would recommend, and to be honest I'll likely get another one for the house.

After having my son select the first ball, a Naliks, I found his second selection the Silent X, indoor size 7 to bounce much more consistently with greater hight yet silky smooth and silent, just right for, that sparingly played, leave a defender in his jock strap (if anybody born in this century still wore one) and proceed to dunk on the indoor goal, hanging barely at 8 feet 1, inch across the den, with one hand the control and authority on display! Thank you Silent X! for moments like these…

This product works very well - I am able to dribble inside in silence! The delivery was fast too.

This basketball is great for playing and practicing indoors!! I was not expecting it to be as silent as it is. The material is sooo soft. I tested it on the floors, the walls, and the ceiling (hehe, a little much) - so trust me when I say it's exactly as described ;)

This is my first time even seeing a silent basketball in person and it will be the last time I even think about entertaining another one. The kids I train like the YGA Sports way better - quality is top notch, bounce back is phenomenal, especially on carpet.

It feels close to a real ball but makes almost no noise. The grip is solid, the bounce is controlled, and it actually helps with ball-handling and touch. I've used it myself and with younger players, and it keeps them working without disturbing anyone.

Great investment - allows you to work on your balling drills morning, noon and night without disrupting the family. It really is silent. Highly recommended.
